Missfits Adrenaline U12 wins District 9 title
The Redding Missfits U12 girls soccer team won the District 9 title over the weekend at Redding Soccer Park, the team's third tournament title this season.
Eleven different girls scored the 18 goals throughout the tournament. They were Kylie Diaz (2), Sara Jorde, Kili Franks (4), Rebeckah Rubanowitz, Ali Franks (3), Dana Marchand, Molly Ross (2), Lexi Rubin, Taylor Pinnell, Brea Carter and Rylie Pinnell. The team beat A-C United 4-0, beat the Redding Missfits Fusion 7-0 and the Red Bluff Blast Shockers 7-1.
Rylie Pinnell was an asset to the Adrenaline team in goal, and was aided by defenders Gracie Fagan, Ashleigh Kelley and Karly Chin. The team allowed just one goal.
Shasta Halloween Shootout (October 24th & 25th)-1st Place
The Redding Missfits Adrenaline win the Shasta Halloween Classic going 4-0!!!!

Benicia Fall Classic (Sept. 26 & 27 2009)-2nd Place
Redding Missfits Adrenaline take Second Place in the Benicia Fall Classic!!!
The Missfits Adrenaline U12 Girls Soccer team allowed only one goal during the Benicia Fall Classice and outscored their opponents 11-1. Unfortunately the one goal that was allowed was in the Championship game against the Petuluma Blast. The Adrenaline opened up the weekend beating the River City Chaos 5-0 with a stellar offensive and defensive effort. The second game on Saturday was against the Walnut Creek Blast and the Adrenaline came out on top again defeating the Blast 4-0!!! Sunday brought the Adrenaline up against a very good Mustang Stampede team with the winner of the game moving on to the Championship game. The Adrenaline played well and came out on top 2-0. The Championship game was a back and forth battle with Petuluma coming out on top 1-0. Both teams played well and it was a great game to be a part of!!! The coaches were very proud of the effort that the young ladies gave all weekend with 4 players being out with the flu they all came together and played really well as a team!!!
Red Bluff Labor Day Games (Sept 5-6 2009)-1st Place
Redding Adrenaline takes First Place in Red Bluff!!
The Missfits Adrenaline U 12 girls soccer team competed in the Red Bluff Labor Day Games tournament over the weekend. They played well as a team outscoring their opponents 13-1 and brought home first place trophies. Game one was against the Missfits Fusion. The Adrenaline came out on top with a score of 5-0. The second game, against AC United ended in the only loss for the Adrenaline when an unfortunate penalty kick was the only goal of the game and in fact was the only goal that was scored against the Adrenaline all weekend!! The Adrenaline then faced off against the Red Bluff Blast Shockers for their third game and won with a score of 5-0. The Adrenaline then got another shot against AC United in the championship game and this time the Adrenaline showed their skills and won the game with a score of 3-0. The coaches and players alike were pleased with the outcome of the tournament. Tournament directors praised the Adrenaline for their good sportsmanship.
Santa Clara Rotary Cup (Aug 15-16 2009)-3rd Place
Redding Adrenaline takes third place in Santa Clara
The Redding Adrenaline U12 girls' soccer team placed third over the weekend at the 9th annual Santa Clara Rotary Club tournament, losing its only game on penalty kicks.
